Got the car on the road last weekend. Problem I had is I only had reverse and first gear on the t56 six speed. It was a rebuilt trans too!
Pulled the trans, sent it to my machinest and he fixed it for $50. Putting it back in this weekend.
I still drove it around the block in first. Great traction from the Torsen diff and 235/16s but I was still able to light the tires up while doing about 20mph by punching it. The sound is wonderful. Engine idles and runs great. My son loves the instant neck snapping response. What is surprising is there is no squat in the rear. Not sure if this is due to the weight reduction, heavier springs or Audi rear. It just leaps.
Can't wait to try the theroritical top speed of 215mph at 6000rpm in 6th :)
