I know there has been discussion on E28 door swaps. Just need to know if I'm missing any major tweaks that are required...for rear door swaps using E28 doors...on my 81 528i ?
Door lock mechanisms requires mod.
Fitting original inner E12 panels requires mounting mods. Outer trim strip requires mounting mod.
Is it worth the time and effort to hunt down E12 doors and avoid all of the tweaking ?
