Be sure to use all copper wire
I find a marine type battery box works well
Build a "tray" out of aluminum angle to prevent the battery from moving fore and aft and side to side.
Use a ratcheting type tie down
Short negative cable with big fender washer to body
Make sure to use grommets and cable stays every few inches on the positive cable going to the starter, they tend to sag under their own weight.
