vise grips for stuck. Hydraulic wrenchs are good too. Box ends won't fit over lines unless you cut the lines; ok for old but not great for new lines and hoses (:
Replace everything; then bleed per Haynes
Note I've always started with rear of car way up on stands and have been able to get air out of master every time.
