Earlier this week, my 528i literally died in my driveway. Checked everything that you recommended.... and nothing.....yesterday I realized the air intake pipe had gotten wedged up against the headlight cover when a bracket bold rusted & broke. After replacing the bolt, I tightend cleaned everything including the fuses and metal clamps.....then it fired right up.....
I took it to I-40 for a good 80+ mph run...
whew.........thanks to the fivers who helped with input earlier this week.
