It's been so long I don't remember all the details, but I think I took off the #6 intake runner and just used a combination wrench. Don't even remember it being particularly bad. Perhaps it was tempered by the discovery that I needed a flywheel not a starter. But if you think this one is bad, try it on an E28. It's much worse.
