Pretty easy to find LEDs that fit right into the sockets now. If you go regular bulbs, stay with OEM wattage or you will melt something. Deal with these everyday with customers.

If I remember right you should have two (2) light bulbs on the top of your cluster. Don't use anything over the OEM wattage or you will risk burning/melting/fire.

As you know I work on many instrument clusters and I have seen some really stupid things done to them.

If it isn't reading correctly, call Palo Alto Speedometer. Hartmut re calibrated mine when I did the switch. It's not a simple gear change in the speedo head but a re-magnetizing of the speedometer.

If the gear ratio in the diff was the same as yours, no problems.

First answer is big ass turbo or even a smaller one.
