Motronic 1.3 information

I picked up a low mileage 3.5L motor that I plan to put in my 1977 E12.

I am planning to run motronic 1.3 and doing some homework.

Do any of you know where I could find some good schematics for this system? I did some searching, but did not turn up anything good.

Thanks Mike, that is a great write up.

He mentions the plug into the E28 fuse box. Is this the same as the E12 fuse box?

Visually they look the same, but according to Realoem they are not. I don't know how different they are or are not.

I think RonDwyer recently did this. Perhaps he noted what he did and it could be added to that FAQ.
