Turn the key: nothing. No gauges, no click at solenoid.
I know, I'm enrolled in basic electrical 101. Any help for what to check 1-10, thank you.
I'm reading Haynes, owners manual, previous posts, FAQ's.
Car ran. Mine now, began cleaning engine bay. Pressure washed, air blasted. Organized, rebundled wires (cloth wrapping loose, gone). Cleaned grounds, connections, braided strap, alternator.
Car started, ran fine up to temp. Not ready to test drive yet, just need to move around. Next morning, low battery, no start. Charge (new) battery, see above.
Buying a test light to do the pull fuses routine. Proceeding with checking, cleaning connections. Wish I knew which ones (633) were critical to completing the start connections.
That's the mystery I have to solve. 1,000 wires, with most of them just running the radio, windows, lights. I have to learn about dead shorts, hanging wires, previous owner hack stereo splice jobs.
Thank you,
No start (electrical)
Turns out the battery posts and cable connections have to be polished to chrome. Not just clean and tight, Dremel tool, wire brushed to knock off all cloudy corrosion that looked clean.
Whew. From all the replies wiring is into the vast unknown, six years of school, how high is up...etc.
I have to learn it, but hopefully now I can sneak up on it.
