So, finally pulled my plugs yesterday.
I have the W8DC's in there, gap at .028 for my 78' 530i.
They looked good last year when I bought the car, new actually. They don't look as good, but not bad.
I read the archives and it seems most of the info is over five years old, but I have the right plugs for my year.
Wondering what people are using.
I looked for the recommended WR9DC/DS and couldn't find them.
Found some with and "8" in there instead of a "9". Are those the silber I want?
I upgraded my ignition to pertronix, so I am think I should upgrade the plugs as well.
Does that make sense?
Anything new out there? It seems there are some really expensive plugs now a days.
Does everyone use Bosch?
Figured I'd ask, because one thing I do know, plugs are really important and can make a huge difference in a car, good or bad.
what type of spark plugs do you use? And, at what gap?

The 8's are fine for Supers. The Supers just won't last as long as Silbers, but you should get good performance out of them. Upgrading to Petronix will help as well. I think I run .027 so you are close enough.
Drive it and enjoy!
