So, Mike, why wouldn't that beefy guibo work on a street E12?
Lack of flexibility?
Or,,,,. I'm tryin' to invent something, but, I'll leave that up to you.

It acts as a universal of sorts. Not for big changes of direction, but some. The engine torques, motor mounts wear, transmission mounts wear and flex. The center bearing flexes. While great eye candy, the mount pictured isn't meant for much flexing. Some, it does have urethane inserts, but it would be a lot more resistant to flexing, impart vibration and be wear prone, urethane just doesn't have the flex life of rubber. Might be fine for a race car where you change things all the time, or a 500HP monster street machine where a short life might be better than no life, but not for a daily driver.

While I haven't used this part specifically, Meyle has a pretty good reputation.
