16x8 Wheels

Post by JoshInAtlanta »

Has anyone run them in the rear without any issue? I don't want to modify the fenders... so I am curious before I order tires.

The most I have done has been 16x7.

Thanks!

I've been running 16x8 in back on Gavin Arthur's old car. Haven't had any problems over the last several years.

I've got 16x8s on the back of mine with 225-50s and no issues. No name wheels so I can't say exactly what the offset is though, but they came off an E28 for whatever that's worth. Not much extra room, but no rubbing.

Cool. I appreciate the info guys. I have extra room with the 16x7s so I figured the 8s would squeeze in no problem, especially the way my suspension is set up.

There. Now I don't feel so bad about not putting one on the e12.

Does that mean a refund is out of the question if they don't fit?
