79 E12 Fan Switch won't rotate

I just bought a 79 528i and the heater bloer fan switch/dial that surrounds the clock won't rotate. Are these hard to find / fix? Any input would be appreciated. Will post pics soon. Thanks

I've got a set of HVAC controls I could send you to cannibalize for parts if you need.

I opened up my switch to clean out the old gluey grease. Watch out for the springs and the detents!
