e34 sport seat upgrade and other winter projects

I have had e34 power seats in my 1980 E12 for about two years now. After sitting in sport seats in a B10 at O'fest, I had to upgrade. Found a set and had them bused in on Grey Hound. Recovered and ready to install. The passengers seat was a simple swap. The wire harness I made clipped right in and I just had to adjust the back cables so the seat wasn't twisted. (Same problem with E28 seats. Cables fall out.) I was feeling really good. Pulled the drivers out and swapped it with the new memory seat. This is where I fell a part. Wire harness was different along with pin layout. After buying the correct wire harness tool to move the wiring and finding the correct schematic, I had power at all the motors but no movement. Quick google search and found you needed to add two grounds and another power to a different plug on the memory box. Once I did, everything is moving. Tomorrow, figure out the leg bolster motor(isn't moving.) and fix the cable for the headrest. Then it's wait until the snow is gone in Southern VA and enjoy.
Next on the list will be:
coil packs/MS 3 controller
Coilovers front and rear
3:45LSD to a 3:07LSD (might involve E24 rear swap)
What are you all working on in the cold?
