Did I say 'Happy New Years?' If not, there ya go.
Question; to change front rotors from my vented '80 528i to my non-vented 75 530i, do I need to change more than the rotors & calipers?
And, when the pads wear out, are they interchangable?
Thanx In Advance,,,,Greg

I installed the vented rotors from my 1980 528i on my 1977 530i and did not notice any issues. Granted, I have not run them yet.

Thanx Blaise, but, I found that the '75 sunroof changes, I think in '76. I wonder of this means the same for the rotors?

The sunroof should not conflict with your brakes. Just kidding.
Just measure the two rotors in question. That is what I did and I could not tell the difference, except for the venting.
On a similar note, I just installed a good dashboard (1979) in my 1977 and found that it does not mate up to my 1977 center console. The side panels are quite different.

I wondered if you would notice the hi & the lo of it.

Good catch
I'm told I may have to change the struts??? Because of the differance in the width?
