What would win a race a BMW 525m sport or a VW Taureg? I have a BMW 525m sport and my friend has a VW taureg and he wont race but is adamant that his car will win.

Mike; when you say 'race' I sure hope you include some medium tight turns.
Straight line racing is for the birds.
Learn how & why to upshift & downshift to handle the turns correctly & you'll know how to drive. Have you heard about 'heel & toe'?
There are schools for road racing.
On this website, get in touch with guys who race their E12's.
Ask & they'll answer.

Yeah, Chris, he did say a 525M. I thought that might be an E12.
But, waddo I know? I still live under that small shade tree!
