cluster is not working

I have a problem with the m535 cluster. I took it out and put in a mechanical euro speedometer and when I went to try it out the turn signals do not work, the gas gauge is pegged at full...no it is not full. And the emergency flashers do not work.
I checked the fuses, look good they are new.
Whenever I slide the left hand plug in, the long one that is on the back of the cluster the gauge goes to full.
Everything worked before I took it out:). Maybe a lesson here for me:)
Any help would be great.
Oh, the km speedometer looks really good.
thanks,

emergency flashers not working at all

So I replaced the emergency flasher, but it is not working. Power is going to the clock and radio, but no flasher.
I assume there is a flasher relay, and that would be a problem. I do not know what that would have to do with the fuel gauge, but it would cause problems for the turn signals.

The black relay, under the dash on the left # 1364654 seems to be the problem. Will check it on Monday
Any confirmation on this????????

I have no experience with the e12 cluster, but did you ensure that everything was plugged back in correctly?
It sounds like that could be the issue if everything else was the same. Also, you could try putting the old one back in place for verification...
thanks for the reply

Yes, I tried checking everything. I even wrote down a picture of where the wires go. I found that I had fried the flasher relay. Once we got the relay replaced everything worked. My fuel gauge is still reading high, but that could be do to needing a good cleaning.
thanks,

Car is running and back together again, well until I take the interior out:)
