Need a little clarification on the install. Different terminology and I want to make sure I get it right.
Mounting instructions: "3. Extract protection tube or dust cover from upper spring plate;will not be remounted."
Are they refering to 03 Cup 31332750138 in the Realoem diagram? Is this what is to be left out?
Also..."8. Remove bump stop located in upper spring plate,since Bilstein cartridge has a built -in bump stop." Is the bump stop they are refering to 17
Absorber 31331112865 in the Realoem diagram?

Correct, do not use #17

#3 is the plastic gaiter that #17 (bump stop) slips into. Neither is used as the bilsteins have the internal bump stop and the full length accordion style gaiter.
