Auto trans fluid for Borg Warner?

The list in the Haynes wasn't very specific. I think I saw Ford type listed as well? Would Dexron II work? What is the go to Auto fluid?

The ZF specifies Dexron and BW is Ford Type F.

Thanks. Any wrecking yards out your way still have E12's in them
