Wondering if I can replace low pressure hose to pump that is 16/22 with 5/8 as locally can’t get former. Just connected both ends w/ hose clamps.

Yeah, low pressure is just an oil hose, nothing special about it. Unless you're trying to keep the original look, a plain one will do just fine.
