Brake booster dilemma

1980 e12 based 635,brake booster has failed.Part # 34331112520 NLA from BMW.Any suggestions for alternative sourcing or rebuilt units?

Assuming it's the same as E12's, posting here or in the for sale/wanted section would be a start. If push comes to shove, E21 boosters will work, they're often used in B35 conversions due I think to being flatter. You would have to bend brake lines a bit, but keep it in mind as an option. But there should be somebody with a spare I would think on a parts car. You might even try posting on Mye28, while you are looking for an E12 part, lots of guys there have an assortment of parts cars.
