Hello,
In the last few weeks, my stupid transmision has been slipping, and of course it is starting to get worse. It stared so abruptly it feels almost like is is low on fluid, but its right on par. What is strange is it is doing it in both reverse and drive. I though usually when the clutch packs go out it is eather one or the other not usually both at once. I guess I am going to pull the pan in the next few days and see what the deal is. Any one know what I should look for?

You're right, it is usually one direction or the other. It could be a plugged filter, go ahead and pull the pan and change the filter. Or it could be the torque convertor. I'm not enough of an auto expert to know if there is anything else or not that could cause it.

Well Its been a few days and I still havent had time to pull the pan, but I did notice that it really seems to do it when I take a corner and it is shifting, which is strange. I think I have some free time in someone shop in a few days so I will post some results in a few days.

Here is a link for the free Peugeot version manual. Faults and trouble-shooting such as slipping, etc. are covered and it's better than poking around blind. http://peugeot505.info/files/manuals/505_3hp22.pdf

I know someone who has a auto parts car... if your changing of the filter and fluid doesn't fix it.
