I want to install the rear door windows (electric window system), but struggling to find the right procedure. I have tried to put the window in under different angles. Also made an attempt by loosing the alu/chrome window guide, but that doesn't seem to really work.
Is quite a long time ago since disassembly. And my concern to damage anything (new windows/doors) doesn't help either .
Anyone any suggestions how to do this job? Many thanks for your help!

Nope. I considered it, but reckoned it may be difficult with the door window already installed (as the rear quarter glass rubber needs to get into / sit in the U shaped profiles, i.e. in the alu trim and the door itself).
Anyway, I found that the other options are certainly not possible. So you're probably right. Will give it a try this evening .

I know age is creeping up really fast for me, but I do recall that it was a serious pain in the rear to fit everything back into the front and rear doors.
Oh yes, the memories of trying to slide the glass into the channel and weather strip inside the door is coming back....oh the nightmare of the thought I would accidently break the glass. I don't know where I found the patience for it. Make sure you have plenty of that too!

I DID IT!! You're right Eddie, the rear quarter windows have to be removed. Once you do that, it takes a bit of trial and error, but it is actually pretty straightforward . Thanks again for your support!
I will try to see if I can make a write-up of the procedure I followed.
