Re: LED Clock on 1981 528i
After changing the the battery and the LED is now stuck at 1:00. Will try Any thoughts on how to fix or what it might be? All ideas are welcome, including changing the clock.
My opinion is the digital clocks were a large techno flub. They look stupid with the rectangular window in the plastic circle, the display goes invisible in the daylight and after a few short thirty years the drat things make E's out of 8's, as good as any egg timer for utility.
Go to the store and buy a cheap analog watch. Use double sided tape to stick it over the drat thing.
Or, you can Google search previous posts to find out how to take the entire center out of the dash and wire in an old analog clock you find on Ebay.
Or, wear a wristwatch and to hell with all of it.
