It youstabee just hard to rotate, adjust to turn on.
Then no adjusting could find the spot, then turning it needed the lug wrench. So far squirting silicone spray, contact cleaner,...no joy.
Storing for winter, but I'm taking suggestions for spring. Perhaps a hammer and chisel ?
Heater fan (blower) dial stuck
I'd say take it apart and apply heat. It's probably just the old grease doing an impersonation of glue.
Unless... you ran it on high too long, way too long and melted it together. I had that on an E24 I used to have, it was supposed to be variable speed but the transistor failed, so the PO just ran it on high until the plastic melted. I was able to fix it eventually, but it took a while.
