adjustable fuel press regulators

Post by Robert Bondi »

Anyone using one with opinions? BavAuto used to sell ones I think made by Malpassi. Bosch also makes some, but I haven't sorted out all the P/Ns; stock mounting at the 528i fuel rail location probably also gets to be trickier; best bet there is likely an adapter.

I haven't, but if you're remotely close to stock, why? Stock it gets plenty of fuel in there, air is the limiting factor. If your TPS is working, at WOT it goes full rich no longer running off the O2 sensor.

Mike,
No problem on current configuration. I was just researching 3.5L upgrade details. I've run across compressing the 2.5 bar FPR as a hack for higher fuel pressure in multiple locations. I'm also aware there's a 3 bar version of the Bosch regulator as another option.
