Remove front turn signal assy.

Metal assembly is out, rubber cover pulled back. There is a black plastic cap with the wire connectors fitting (too) tight in/around the metal access port to the light bulb.

Do we unplug the assembly further inside the car (harness) or do we use a pliers to (gently) twist, pull the black plastic cap out of the metal piece ?

If you look past the assembly into the inner fender, the rubber covered wires go through a small hole to a white cylindrical plug. ( Not shown or described clearly in any manual or parts drawing.)

The whole metal turn signal assembly, with the wiring tail on it, will come out.
