ignition timing 525 euro carb model

Hi Guys,

I want to set my ignition timing, just to be sure. I've read some different input here.

Does anybody know exactly how much RPM the engine needs to turn to see the 22BTC ball mark in the bellhousing?

For a 530 it should be 2200 RPM
535 some say 1700 RPM

Does anybody know the details for a 525 carb euro model?

What year? After this weekend I should be able to look it up, I believe I have a book somewhere.

My '76 carb 528 needs 1700rpm for the 22 degree sign.

it's a 1977 525. THX! I guess it doesn't differ much from your 528...
