Have auto/master lock system. Is the only way to lock driver door from outside with key? I thought it should and used to lock manually with button before closing? Suspect I'm wrong. It locks/stays down when door is closed and all doors lock when I press the button and stay locked but drivers door button pops back up when door is open/unlatched. I've opened up the panel and it seems the latch needs to be engaged to keep the button down.
On the plus side, replaced all heater/A/C universal joints, got the gerbil out of the vent fan but it still chirps, it was burning fuses due to an obstruction, literally saw two fuses in flames; and rolled over 190k miles. Bad news, sunroof pooped out, $2.00 plastic part but it's an afternoon at least. And a four year old smacked a rear marker light and broke it!
Also think I have perpetual richness(smell and 17-18mpg), if it's the AFM that's tired wouldnt the O2 sensor compensate appropriately, or maybe the CTS is shot?
One more thing: threw an adjustable timing light on and found a white? mark but never saw a ball. Maybe a different flywheel?
Thanks, Cheers and happy fall equinox

Re: Door lock question
Yep, that's how they work. You can only lock it with the door closed.RandyM wrote:Have auto/master lock system. Is the only way to lock driver door from outside with key? O2 sensor circuit will only do so much. Check fuel pressure too.

M/T? Yep, there's a ball in there. It can be hard to find. You will only see the ball within about a 3 degree range and probably 100-150 RPM too. It's easy to lose, visually. One more thing: threw an adjustable timing light on and found a white? mark but never saw a ball. Maybe a different flywheel?
