Reset door locks

Post by T.Hanson »

I remember a post long ago instructing how to reset the power door locks. Something to do with pulling the rod levers... until they click...

I'm thinking all you have to do is push the reset button on the control box - in the glove box ...

Either the '79 didn't have one or a previous owner removed it.

I'm curious about this as well, I figured I'd try locking my car today and kind of locked my self out now :/ I tried it with the window down, so I was able to open the door from the inside, but I can't get the interlock to disengage now :/

All that I found in the glove box was the ECM no interlock module, and please don't tell me it's in the trunk... My key doesn't work there....
