ATE Front rotors / Source ?

Post by alotawatts »

I'm not having any luck finding stock replacement ATE front rotors.
ATE rear rotors are available from suppliers, Ebay etc. but for fronts all I can find are the newer Power-Slotted version.
Brembo's and others are okay but ATE is good stuff.
thx

You can probably get them from Maximillian...

Really? You find ATE is the best rotor? For me they tend to warp the fastest. I'd prefer others.

I've had good luck with Brembo once figured out that I wasn't warping them but coating them unevenly with friction material

Check stoptech.com "the myth of warped rotors" for more info on this

I haven't had rotor problems on an E12, but I've warped a variety of brands on my E28. Balo seems to have the best reputation on them. If you want cheap, Rockauto has BeckArnley front rotors for under twenty bucks right now, hard to tell who makes them as they're only a distributor.
