my M90 engine wiring harness

Post by krister »

Hello out there I just want to hear about someone knows if I can use the wiring harness from a 3.2 L-jet system to a 1979 3.5 m90 engine
For I have bought an M90 engine almost complete but without the wiring harness. But I have a 3.2 engine with wiring harness ( L-jet). Ican see that there is some sensor on the 3.2 engine but not on the 3.5 engine does anyone have an idea what I'm talking about.
it seems that it is the sensor to the water which is just below the manefold of 3.2 engine

As long as neither is motronic, ie if they both have a regular distributor sticking out up front there shouldn't be an issue. I know the sensor you're talking about, I think it's a 45C switch, but I'm unsure what it really does. I don't know if you're familiar with Realoem.com, it's a great resource to figure out what parts are the same. While US based, there is an Euro option too in the menus. Plus often things are interchangable, but not exactly the same, but that you have to figure out the hard way.
