question on oil cooler for 1980 m535i

Has anyone ever repaired an oil cooler for the m535i???
I am being told that they can not be fixed....
any input would be great....

I'd ask on MyE28. It's the same style cooler fitted to Euro cars and the M5. More of those folks would have one. Of all of my oil coolers, the only thing leaking are the lines.

It very well could be like fixing the front end. Have to ask more than one shop!

Chris: Yes, good idea, took 4 shops to get the car worked on last time:).
I am going to check around this week and see what happens.
