L-jet Wire Question

Post by JMinNJ »

Hi,

I'm new to the board. I'm in the process of installing L-Jet injection into my 74 e9 coupe. I'm wondering what the black wire coming out of the wire harness along with the green wire for the O2 sensor is used for. I've included a link to a picture.

In the picture it's the black wire with the white connector. I can't find the wire on my e12 wiring diagram. Maybe I don't need to worry about it.
The L-jet is from a 1980 528i.

I know the wire up near the main ICU plug (and will be in the glove box)is from the coil and connects through the engine plug.

Any Help would be graetly appreciated.

It "might" be for the A/C compressor. I'll try and take a look later or Wednesday.

Thanks guys! Makes sense that it's an AC power wire. That explains why it would not show up on the wire diagram.
