e28 axle interchange

Does anyone know if e28 axles will bolt in to an e12? thanks,

They might. I know the other direction doesn't work, the shield is larger on the E12, so you can't use E12 ones on E28s. But the bolt pattern is the same, I know that. I don't know if length is the same or not.

I was mostly concerned about bolt pattern. I believe length is the same but I'll post when I can say that definitively. thanks
