Dang. That carpet has been so hard to find. I've been looking for over a year.
Thanks for letting me know before I wasted the gas $$ and time going down there.

That's the flasher relay. The 4X21W is a dead giveaway.
I realize we're still not much closer on your no start, but look at what color and where what wires are at the ignition switch.

If this relay has a continues fast-click it is toast. Unlike the hazard switch/button which is repairable this relay is not....unless you have the ways and means to diagnose and replace bad transistors and capacitors.Mike W. wrote:That's the flasher relay. The 4X21W is a dead giveaway.
Three E12's and one R27

Damn you guys are good. Yes, it is the blinker. It's odd this blinker clicking sound coincided with my no start issue.
Sorry for the delay getting back to read the posts but I was called out of town on business on short notice. When I get home I'll start debugging the no start issue.
Thanks for all the help guys.

ignition / start issue resolved
guys thanks for your assist on this issue.
The issue is fixed. One of the prior owners had connected a Start Button by splicing it's wires into existing wires. Trouble was they used Scotch tape to hold the wires together. One of the wires had come loose and it wasn't easy to find the spot where it should go. The length of the wire helped me narrow down the options.
And yes, I installed real connectors to the wires so this doesn't happen again.
Anyways, now on the the Blinker and Brake Light issues. I'll take that into a new thread.

that is the flasher relay. I replace it recently on mind and it is a expensive part for what it is. O well. If its clicking from there its probably a bulb that burned out somewhere. Not sure if its relevant to your no start issuesocalfiver wrote:On second inspection, i realized it could also be a flasher. Do you have a turn signal on? Signal on and a burnt out bulb would cause a fast click.
