Knock wood, Murphy's law etc.
I'm walking out to my black '79, Eibach's, lowered, Mahle's, Zender rear spoiler, in the big parking lot and I really do think it's a great looking sedan. All that glass for interior visibility, close to that in a top down convertible. I like square as a design alternative to all the weenie buns out there.
This one came from Seattle twelve years ago.Switched out the head, replaced the clutch. That's it. Approaching 153,000 miles. It never breaks, forever, so often I can't remember the new battery. I do take care of it, look it over, listen, Oops, I forgot having to change out the heater valve.
Doesn't burn oil. Can you believe that ? A 33 year old car, never stored, and I just got 22 m.p.g. for a third tank of just driving around town, freeways and streets.
Honk on it, slap shift, it'll be over eighty at the bottom of an average ramp. Goes around cloverleafs on rails, flat.
Bought it for $1500, (+) specified Doodads, in my opinion we Fiver's deserve to be laughin'.
