hi everybody.
i buy finally the rev counter for my 518, but, as you know, the instrument cluster is pretty hard to remove and very fragile (the guy from the scrapyard broke the glass pulling it out). can you explain me a way to remove it without get myself in troubles? thanks!

As Karl says, but you have to be on the introduction page & look in the far left column for either 'google search' or 'FAQ'. Good luck.
It's there, I just saw it.
Your scrapyard guy didn't know that it has to be done AFTER unscrewing & loosening stuff from underneath the dashboard.
Also, there's a way to drop the steering column for just enough room to clear. Do it! Maybe even remove the steering wheel. It'll eliminate some frustration.
Also, NEVER force anything! It either comes out with a wiggle, or something is not undone.
Ask me how I know!
