I have a small screw hole above and to the right of the brake booster hose on the runners side of the intake. As I was plugging the hole, the one way valve, on the brake hose disintagrated. I removed what was left and reattached the hose and she started right away. HOT DAM. I have started her all afternoon and has had no problems. She still idles about 1800 but I am not complaining. I have to stop now and get ready for work.

I told you it was and air leakage.

Keep searching for more bad hoses valves, any leaks.

Old hoses suck air! I have been quietly replacing all rubber under hood and have had hit aux air valve air hose problems. Where do i find these air tube hoses?

For that funky hose to the aux air valve, you need the BMW part. I got a replacement from local indie.

For some others that are plain hoses, like vacuum lines, you can probably find the right size at any basic auto parts store.
