I just put the drivers seat in my new E12 from 79 and I didn't have to use the bracket I used in my first E12 from 1978. I only needed to slot the holes! It was easy! :)
E12 M30B35, VEMS, HX52 never getting finished.

e36 seats into a e12

My apologies about reviving an old thread.. looking to install some e36 seats into my e12... anybody done this and have a template of the bracket they made?
Currently own: 1973 BMW 3.0CS; 1972 Porsche 914
Past: 1995 BMW 318Ti; 1995 BMW 318i; 2001 BMW 325Ci; 1981 Austin HL Estate; 1981 BMW 528i
