Change from Sport KGB to Touring Bilstein?

Post by Domingo »

I have 4 new KGB Sports on al 4 but I am considering change for the two front to the Touring Bilstein and leaving the Sports KYB in the rear.
Is this a good set up?
With the 4 KGY runs fine but think the car would ride much better with two Touring Bilstein in the front.

Any suggestion??

I have not used them, so my info is just secondhand, but the Bilstein Touring have not gotten good reviews. They are the budget line and apparently not the same type of shock or in the same class as the traditonal HDs, Comforts or Sports. Some feel KYBs ride a little harsh, but I've always liked them and I don't like very harsh springs/shocks.
