Ignition Coil Choices?

Post by EURO M3 CSL »

Evening fellow e12ers,

What is a good brand ignition coil to replace my stock ignition coil? What brand and model would help. Also, is there any recommended spark plug wires that i should upgrade while im at it? thanks for your help

Depends on year and model of e12. 528i use a transistorized coil. Best to get that type.

Not sure about 530i as I think it has a ballast.

Wires; I used BMP wires but I've seen good ones from Bosch and Bavarian Autosport. Karlyns are probably also really good.
