Right rear electric window motor switch - need help

Opened up the passenger side rear door today to find out why my window wasn't working. Found the switch unattached and the plug the window switch attaches to fell apart and the wires came out of their respective positions. I tried wiring it the same as the left (drivers side) rear switch and the window only goes one direction (tried known good switches). The wiring diagram in my repair book (chiltons) only lists the colors and not the corresponding number (1-5) on the switch. Can someone please tell me what wire goes to what switch terminal?

Red/yellow
White
Blue
Black
Green

The same thing happened to me on the same door. I copied what the front right passenger door showed me. You just might be copying the laft door in reverse since it's on the left, not the right. Try copying the passenger door 'cause it's on the same side. If your car is a left-hand drive, of course!
It worked for me w/o a hitch & I'm not that good! Of course, be very careful to not let the wires fall out of the door you want to copy from!!

Thanks Greg. The wires for the right front are mostly different colors. Does anyone have a wiring diagram on .pdf or can easily read what color wires go to what terminal number for the right rear window switch?

I am getting closer. So far, here is what I know:

Terminal # Left Rear Right Front
1 Black Black
2 Blue Blue
3 White White/Red
4 Red/Yellow Red/White
5 Green Green/Red

I attached the Right Rear switch as depicted below and the switch at the door works correctly but the master control at the drivers door does not move the right rear window. I suppose this switch is no longer working so I will test this next.

1 Black
2 Blue
3 White
4 Red/Yellow
5 Green

Turns out it is the same as the Left Rear switch so had I wired them correctly the first time, I would not have struggled this hard to get the window to operate.

I'm glad - you've solved the problem.
As I understand, you are speaking of possibly faulty switch №6 - rear passenger side window on USA diagram. You've checked №20 switch and it's OK.

There are two ways to test switch №6:
1. Just transfer the wires from switch 6 to 5, but only the secondary wires, i.e.
green/yellow from №6 to green from №5
white/yellow from №6 to white from №5
then you can operate the rear passenger window with the rear driver's master switch. So you can check the wires and the connectors also.
2. The second way is to check directly switch 6, using a voltmeter.
As you already know - red/yellow wire coming from №4 (child safety switch) - is +12V. When you operate the button to the one side - it should appear GND on the green wire, and then to the other side - it should appear GND on the white wire. You can measure these voltages directly on the connector №10 between red/yellow and green and then between red/yellow and white.

Brown wires are commonly GND, red wires are +12V and red wires with other color stripes are appearing 12V in some circumstances. In this case black and blue wires are motor wires with reversing polarity. Green and white (also with additional color stripes are appearing GND in some circumstances.
