OK .... various symptoms/ one cause ? multiple causes ?
* shake / vibration in 1st and 2nd. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to
get a smooth start
* clutch replaced about a year ago / flywheel resurfaced too
* slight fuel smell ( all fuel lines replaced - front and rear )
* bad gas mileage ... 12-15 mpg
* idles smooth ( throttle body cleaned and adjusted as per FAQ article )
Ideas ? Theories ? More clutch pressure ? Bad fuel pressure ( new stock
pressure guage 2 yrs old )
As always ... all comments welcome.

Potential causes:
Clutch causes with presumption that the clutch and plates are OK:
1. Check the slave clutch pump, then the master.
2. Check the fluid level and check for air in the system - I believe - this isn't the reason
3. Check the clutch and the plates for oil or dirt. I believe, there aren't some bent parts after an overheating.
Fuel causes:
1. Check the fuel pump - pressure - the best place is the fuel injectors rail. In that way you will check the fuel pressure regulator also.
2. Check for blocked fuel filters - beside the external, the intank also.
There could be some other causes of course. After you start, smooth or not, how you feel it - is there enough power? What happens if you depress the gas pedal to the "max", after you are already moving?
And some offtopic - to Josh in Atlanta
It depends - 16 or 17 inch Alpina wheels, if you are looking for 17" - you can see the pictures in my signature.
