Saab moon glass

Anyone know if the Saab moon glass thats popular with E28-ers fits in late model E12's ?
Search only gets me this ...but looks encouraging......

I have noticed a fair number of SAABS in the local boneyard, let me know if you want me to extract one for you. Without the slider panel it sure would be hot having a window up there!

I suspect 80-81 would work as they seem to have the same sunroof design as E28s. 77 (or was it 78) thru 79 might work, but they have the sunroof drive in the trunk, unlike under the headliner like 80-81. Early slide only I doubt would work.

I will add, I haven't tried any of the above, I like the steel roof myself.
