Need BRAKE PAD recommendation
Need BRAKE PAD recommendation
Ceramic seems to get lots of press, but I still want to float the question as to what is BEST for LOW brake dust and squeaking (the lesser of evil to be sure). But you guys tell me... WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND by TYPE AND BRAND? BTW... I am replacing all calipers with ATE/FTE for my girl with the nice butt as seen here just to the left. (ahh... and better described below).
Google search previous posts to find Mike W.'s opinion. (Ceramic, with no brand recommendation).
autopartswarehouse.com, bavauto.com to read brand information, choices, prices. Mine are just for street, don't make black dust or squeak. When if it's time to replace I can't remember the old brand. Probably decide to believe somebody's sales pitch, pay the $35 for a set or two and see what happens.

Thanks T. I did see that post already but its still early.
I'll wait for others to chime in (hopfully). I wish you knew your medium and brand. I hate cleaning these alpina spokes.T.Hanson wrote:Google search previous posts to find Mike W.'s opinion. (Ceramic, with no brand recommendation).

You should try cleaning the mesh on E39 style 5's.
