Ive just replaced all 3 rubber high pressure ac lines as well as installing a new receiver drier and belt.
I have run a vacuum on the system, and it holds 30 lbs vacuum.
When i try to fill the system with refrigerant (r134a), it wont accept refrigerant and the sight glass remains empty. Adding just a small amount of refrigerant causes a very high low side reading, but there is no cooling effect and im seeing nothing through the sight glass.
Any suggestions? Plugged expansion valve? Bum compressor?
I did this same process on my 633csi and it worked great. Same system, as its e12 based.

I wonder if it could be something as simple as the schrader valve isn't being properly depressed and opening the valve. Even if you had a plugged expansion valve you should be able to get something in.
