2. A bit of residual white/red paint helps me match cooler ports with line [..] passages; haven't gone there yet.
Hi Robert,
I've a ...

Welcome to the forum here Doug.
What kind of electrical issues do you have? And do you have the RHD version (because you are referring to UK and SA)?
The wiring loom is - as far as I know - not M535i E12 specific and should be exactly the same as other big 6 cylinders E12's (528i). Although there ...

Thanks Lenny. I agree that lubrication of the hood related parts is certainly important. However, all those parts are new and move without too much effort if you move them by hand.
In this case it's rather that these two springs don't seem to 'push up' the hood (on release) with enough force... so ...

[Bodywork] issue with mounting the hood / bonnet
Ok, so I'm trying to install two new torsion springs (see link 1, items #6 and #7) which go inside the tube (item #4) at the front of the hood.
This goes without any serious hassle. However, when I pull the release cable and the hood is released, I find that the force by which it opens ('pops') is ...

Peter, thanks for your reply and offer. You're right.
Using the right bolt this time for the bracket :-) and with some copper wire to do a bit of trial and error (to correctly bend the hard line), it turned out to be very straight forward: the pressure hose should indeed be attached to the master ...

Routing of the clutch hydraulic system
I'm trying to reassemble the clutch hydraulic system. Unfortunately, the original parts (hose, lines etc.) were lost. So no examples available :(.

How to install the door windows
I want to install the rear door windows (electric window system), but struggling to find the right procedure. I have tried to put the window in under different angles. Also made an attempt by loosing the alu/chrome window guide, but that doesn't seem to really work.

Yep, I agree with the posts above.
