I also can't answer but I am personally running B35 manifolds with e32 downpipes(50mm) and have no steering interference issues.

the voltage regulator inside the alternator controls the output of the alternator based on load requirements. it will only put out the amps required to replace what your various loads are consuming, in order to maintain a constant voltage.

ditto for me. the inside lip of the rear fender extends so far in(seemed like over 3/4" on mine) and is of such thick metal that it doesn't fold up and roll over well. I simply took a cutoff disc(ziz wheel) and cut the inside lip down to about 1/4". I made the cut so that it was slightly radiused up ...

swapping to an e28 rear subframe also helps with squat as well as dive, due to revised control arm mount locations. surely not as much as such a large spring rate increase, but obviously without any of the same drawbacks.

I was mostly concerned about bolt pattern. I believe length is the same but I'll post when I can say that definitively. thanks

You need an e21 brake booster to fit the intake.

The mount bosses are further forward but most get around this by bolting your original motor mount arms on the new block more rearward, so that 2 of the 4 bolt holes are used. Others have made adapter plates to use all 4 bolts but many have found ...

best idea is to get a b35 front cover/pulley. the trigger wheel to vr sensor signals are a lot "cleaner" because they lack the mechanical inconsistency associated with the backlash that arises from distributor and cam gear wear.

Bleed it anyway. They share a reservoir and so share fluid. Make it all fresh and consistent.

17mm. I can't make a non synthetic gear oil suggestion because I don't suggest it. It's only a few dollars more every 15k miles. You have an e12. Buy synthetic gear oil. Redline MTL seems to be the best in my experience.

I tested the draw at the battery from the post to terminal and I have over 1 amp there
That's an issue. Disconnect and clean your battery post and terminal.
