update on 1980 635 L-jet

Thanks all for the help.I finally replaced the pulse coil in my distributor and all is well.It runs strong.Fortunately I had a spare distributor as the internal parts on mine were frozen on the shaft.I wound up using the carrier and springs from the donor part.Thanks again

Is your timing the same as 2.8 ? Plug vacuum lines, center ball @ 2200 r.p.m. Thank you.

i didn't have to time the system as I did not remove or loosen the distributor.The engine is running so smooth I just left it where it's at.When I replace the plugs and wires,I'll time it.
